Quick help
Collecting a place
Walk up to a place on the map — when you’re within range, the Collect button unlocks. If it stays locked, you may be too far away, or location access is off (see below).
Location isn’t working
Open iOS Settings → Jersey Quest → Location and choose While Using (or Always if you want background route auto-collect). Make sure Location Services are on system-wide, and that you have a GPS signal outdoors.
Challenges & the leaderboard
Leaderboards and challenges use your iCloud account — sign in to iCloud on your device. Tap the gold trophy on the map to create or join a challenge; invite friends with a code or QR. If standings look empty, pull to refresh or relaunch the app.
Souvenirs & backup
After collecting, snap up to three Polaroid souvenirs. They’re backed up to your private iCloud by default; you can turn backup or “Also save to Photos” on/off in Settings → Privacy.
Reset your progress / profile
In Settings you can reset your leaderboard profile (this removes your leaderboard entry and frees your nickname) and reset your collected stamps. Deleting the app removes on-device data.
Analytics & privacy
Anonymous analytics are on by default (and can be turned off anytime in Settings → Privacy). They send only anonymous, aggregate data that helps develop and expand the island’s tourism offer — we don’t show ads or track you across other apps. See our Privacy Policy.
Something looks wrong with a place
Open a place’s details and use Report a problem (wrong location, can’t reach, closed, etc.), or use the contact form above.
