St Martin's charity Bonfire Night in the field next to the parish car park, run by the St Martin's Committee in aid of FREEDA, Acorn Enterprise and Caring Cooks. Live music on stage, a Guy competition (keep yours under two metres and carryable by one person), the lighting of the bonfire with a mini firework display, a fire show and a grand fireworks finale to close. The bonfire is built to be hedgehog-friendly. Food, sparklers and glow sticks are sold on site - please do not bring your own sparklers. In 2026 it is on Saturday 7 November, gates open at 5pm. Cash is the quickest way through the queue.
