The story
A working watermill in St Peter's Valley, on a site where a mill has been recorded since the early 14th century. It fell into disuse in the 20th century, was pressed back into service by the occupying Germans to grind flour during the war, and was restored by the National Trust for Jersey in the 1970s. The wheel turns again on milling days, and stoneground flour is sold on site. The valley path leads on to Le Moulin de Tesson and the Le Don Gaudin woodlands.
