The parish on the edge of town, where St Helier's streets climb into lanes, big Victorian houses and the Lieutenant Governor's residence. Lillie Langtry — the Jersey Lily, the most famous woman of her age — was born here, the rector's daughter, and is buried in the churchyard.

Howard Davis Park, given to the island by T. B. Davis in memory of his son Howard, killed on the Somme in 1916, is the parish's green heart and one of the best-kept gardens in Jersey.
