The story
A working lavender farm in St Brelade, with fields planted in rows across the slope, a distillery where the oil is extracted, and a tearoom and shop. The plants flower from June and the harvest runs through July, when the fields are at their most colourful and the scent carries across the road. Outside the flowering season the farm is still open and explains how the oil, soaps and perfumes are made.
