The story
A private garden of ponds, waterfalls, bridges and hidden corners, created over decades by one man beside the lavender farm in St Brelade and opened to visitors for a voluntary donation. Water runs through every part of it, there are birds in aviaries and fish in the pools, and paths loop around so no two visits follow the same route. Small, personal and quite unlike the island's grand gardens.
