The story
The fish market on Beresford Street, across the road from the Central Market, is a working hall where island fishermen's catch is sold each morning: crab, lobster, bass, bream and whatever the boats brought in. Under a Victorian roof of iron and glass, the stalls are a good place to see what Jersey's waters produce and to hear the trade in full voice. Best early, before the day's fish are gone.
