The story
A country estate in St Mary with orchards, gardens and a farm kitchen that produces Jersey's traditional preserves. The best known is Black Butter — Nièr Beurre in Jèrriais — a dark apple spread slow-cooked for a day and a night with spices and lemon, once made communally at autumn gatherings across the island. The estate also makes chocolate and fudge on site, and the grounds are open to walk around.
