The story
A shopping and dining arcade in the granite shell of St Helier's former abattoir, built in the 1880s beside the harbour. The original iron roof trusses and stone arches were kept when it was converted, and the old weighbridge still stands at the entrance. It sits between Liberation Square and the marina, so it is where town meets the waterfront.
