The story

A maritime museum on New North Quay, and the home of the Occupation Tapestry. The tapestry was designed by Wayne Audrain and stitched by islanders, each of the island's twelve parishes working one panel, for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation. A thirteenth panel was added later, and 13 now hang in the gallery. They show life through the five years of German Occupation, running in sequence around the room, with an interactive screen beside each panel and a film in the gallery. The rest of the museum deals with Jersey and the sea.
