The story
One of a group of prehistoric standing stones on the dune heath of Les Blanches Banques, behind St Ouen's Bay. The stone was found lying in two pieces and re-erected in the 20th century. It stands with the Great Menhir and the Little Menhir on one of the largest sand-dune systems in the British Isles, an area rich in wildflowers and insects that is protected as a Site of Special Interest. Reached on foot across the dunes from Les Quennevais.
