The story
A small shingle-and-sand cove tucked between headlands just north of Gorey, with Mont Orgueil filling the view to the south. The rocky point on its northern side is Jeffrey's Leap, named after a condemned man who, in island legend, was made to jump from the cliff and survived — twice. At low water the sand widens and rock pools appear along both edges. Quiet even in summer, it is a good stop on the coast road between Gorey and Archirondel.
