Beaches in Jersey

Jersey has one of the largest tidal ranges in the world — up to twelve metres — so every beach is two beaches: a strip of sand at high water and a wide plain of rock pools and ribbed sand at low. The south and west face the sun and the Atlantic; the north coast is cliffs with small coves tucked between them; the east looks across to France.

None of them charge, and most have a bus stop and a café within reach. Collect them as you go — the beach stamps are the easy ones, and the set is a good excuse to see the whole coast rather than one bay.
