The story
A small sandy cove on the south-west cliffs between Beauport and La Moye, reached by a long flight of steps down through gorse and heather. There is nothing at the bottom but sand, granite and sea — no café, no lifeguard — and it stays quiet even when St Brelade's Bay is full. The rocks on either side make good shelter, and the climb back up is rewarded with views along the cliffs towards Corbière lighthouse.
