The story
The south-western headland of Jersey, where the cliffs run out towards Corbière lighthouse and the coast path drops to the small coves below. The lighthouse of 1874 was the first in the British Isles built of concrete and is the landmark from every angle here. The point is high, exposed and often windy, with views south to the Minquiers reef and west across open Atlantic.
