The story
The highest ground on the island, about 143 metres above sea level on the north coast of St John, marked by the tall broadcasting masts that are visible from almost everywhere in Jersey. The land drops steeply from here to the cliffs at Bonne Nuit, so the views across the sea to Sark, Guernsey and Alderney are the widest on the island. The lanes around the masts are quiet and the north-coast cliff path is a short walk away.
