The story
A cliff-top viewpoint on the north coast of St John, named after the sea caves in the granite far below. In the 19th and 20th centuries visitors climbed down hundreds of steps to reach the caves; the path is now closed as unsafe, and the caves themselves can only be seen from the sea. The headland still gives one of the wildest views on the island, west towards Sorel Point and out across the water to the other Channel Islands.
