The story
A small fishing harbour at the island's north-eastern corner, sitting at the foot of a wooded valley with the coast of Normandy on the horizon. Granite houses and cottages cluster around the pier, and boats still work from the harbour. Above the bay on the western side are the remains of Le Câtel de Rozel, a prehistoric rampart, and the coast path climbs out in both directions towards Bouley Bay and Fliquet.
